As the 2024 Summer Event Fest comes to a close, there are still plenty of opportunities to explore Billings like a local and enjoy live entertainment, festivals and more.
 
Labor Day Weekend
Downtown Billings
A parade of classic cars brings the streets of Billings to life as 500 cars rumble throughout downtown. And after the last car has passed, the band will fire up for dancing in the streets.
 
September 6
ZooMontana
Join us for an exhilarating evening of local brews, live music and boundless entertainment as Ales for Trails returns to ZooMontana. All proceeds go the Billings urban trail system.

MetraPark
The Country Music Association’s 2022 Single of the Year winner, Cody Johnson, performs at MetraPark in Billings as the summer concert season comes to a close.
 
September 14 at 8 pm
Alberta Bair Theater
Five-time Grammy-winning country/soul vocalist Wynonna Judd will be at the Alberta Bair Theater in Billings as part of her “Back To Wy Tour.” Beyond the groundbreaking music she and her mother created as The Judds, Wynonna has grown into her once-in-a-generation vocal prowess with an ease that made people clamor to her.

All too often, great films by hard-working filmmakers go unseen. But not in Billings. Enjoy a world-class film festival that gives up-and-coming directors a platform and an audience to show their work.

Crystal has one of the most wide-ranging repertoires of any country star. Renowned for her classic recording of her timeless signature song “Don’t It Make My Brown Eyes Blue,” Crystal scored big with hits “You’ve Been Talking In Your Sleep,” “Half the Way” and her duet with Eddie Rabbitt, “Just You and I.”

The final night of the 10th annual Big Sky Comedy Festival will take place at the Alberta Bair on October 5th. 24 of the best comedians from all over the world come to Billings to compete in the nation’s top comedy festival. The top 10, as chosen by representatives of the entertainment industry that have also come to town for the week, will perform one final set in hopes of being named MVP of this year’s festival.

A comedian, actor, writer and producer, Nick Swardson’s unique comedic view has established him as a force in the film and TV sphere and as a prolific stand-up comic. Swardson recently visited theaters in over 50 cities as a part of his “Make Joke From Face Tour”. Swardson also tours regularly on a bill with Adam Sandler, David Spade and Rob Schneider.
 
 
October 12
Downtown Billings
HarvestFest is a grand community fall festival that celebrates the season with arts and crafts, mums, pumpkins, face painting, balloon twisting, baked goods, and the final offerings of locally grown goods. Experience the aromas of food-truck fare like steak sandwiches, cotton candy and kettle corn.
 
October 11-19
MetraPark
This premiere event brings hundreds of exhibitors from across the United States and Canada along with their livestock to Billings to show and sell. The event features top-notch rodeo performances with a wildly popular Ranch Rodeo and three nights of PRCA Rodeo action.

Alberta Bair Theater
Swan Lake, the ballet of all ballets, will be performed one night only by the World Ballet Company. The production will feature richly detailed, hand-painted sets and over 150 radiant costumes that bring fresh representation to this timeless classic.
